The Toogoolawah Railway Museum that is one feature of the Cultural Precinct being developed for the town. The station stands beside the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and was the last operational station on the original Brisbane Valley Rail Line. It has an impressive history. This station was built in Brisbane in 1882 as the Exhibition station on the new Sandgate rail line and remained there until 1904 when the station site was leased to Dalgety’s for the erection of a grain store. At the same time the Brisbane Valley branch rail line had reached Cressbrook Creek and the twenty two year old Exhibition Station was relocated here.
