Begin your journey in Lowood with a visit to the Lowood’s Folk Art Cooperative, a space packed with locally made crafts, artwork and home-grown produce. Browse the handmade pieces and plants before enjoying a slice of delicious homemade cakes or sampling locally made biscuits and preserves.

From Lowood, continue to Esk and pop by Nash’s Gallery and Café, where arts, crafts and colourful creations fill every corner of the historic house. Stay for morning tea or lunch and enjoy a menu of savoury and sweet dishes showcasing fresh local produce. Stop by Glen Rock Gallery, located in the Esk Visitor Information Centre, which showcases local artists in their changing monthly exhibitions. 

Just a stroll away, discover Little Country Lane, one of Esk’s most charming stores. This space showcases the work of local makers and regional providores, perfect for finding a unique gift or meaningful souvenir. Before leaving town, grab a coffee or cake from Brisbane Valley Roasters to fuel up before the next leg of the journey. 

If you travel on a Saturday, the Esk Country Markets are a must. Stroll through the stalls brimming with artisan wares and home-made goods. There are plenty of hidden treasures to be found here.

Continue on to Toogoolawah, with your first stop being The Condensery, an award-winning regional gallery housed in the historic remains of a 1920s Nestlé condensed milk packing shed. Exhibitions rotate regularly, making each visit a unique experience.

Just a short walk away, pop into the Two Galahs Gallery, a much-loved space showcasing painting, pottery, jewellery, woodwork and more. With over 80 artists displaying their work, the gallery is a celebration of local talent. There are also workshops held throughout the year, making it a must-visit for arts and crafts lovers.

Take a break with a coffee and cake at Picnic Society. The café is also known for its condiments, including jams, chutneys and relishes, as well as its retail range of picnic accessories.

From Toogoolawah, enjoy the scenic drive to Linville, stopping for a late lunch at the historic Linville Hotel. After lunch, make a stop by Moore to visit the Supper Room Art Gallery. Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery | Kilcoy

Kilcoy Art Society Inc. (KASI), formerly the Kilcoy Artists’ Group, has its headquarters in the restored, historic Kilcoy Courthouse Gallery. Built in 1910, the Courthouse was relocated in 2011 to Kilcoy’s Yowie Park and now features quarterly exhibitions as well as other artworks on display.
