Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery – October Artists of the Month

The Kilcoy Art Society’s Artists of the Month for October are Michelle Ledwith and Lindsay Conroy.

Both artists have their own individual styles of art.
Michelle works with most mediums but particularly enjoys the creativity of mixed media, incorporating found objects in her work. Her inspiration is mostly drawn from nature and her own observations. She loves to capture the colours, light and shadow, patterns and moods of nature.

Lindsay enjoys a quirky outlook in her style. She is currently creating visual stories on canvas using a mix of images developed from layers of acrylic glaze to build up the colours, then draws over the top to create a fun impression. Her journey starts with a white canvas and not knowing where she is going the colours, brush and pen harmonise and lead her to the finished piece of art. Each artwork is a unique piece!

Please support Michelle and Lindsay by visiting the Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery during October to see their beautiful artwork.
