Cyanotype Workshop at The Condensery

July 6, 2024

11am – 2pm

The Condensery, 29 Factory Rd, Toogoolawah

Cyanotype printing is a photographic process developed in 1843 and the prints are commonly known as blueprints or sun prints. This is an exciting way to make photograms, from 3D objects and flora, as well as contact prints from photographs using digital negatives.

LeAnne Vincent will guide you through the process of coating papers and fabric with the iron salt solutions, designing your prints with objects and flora, and exposing and washing the prints to reveal the impressions.

All materials provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own small objects, doilies, or flora from home and an apron or old T-shirt to protect their clothing. Suitable for beginners, aged 10+. All children must be supervised by an adult. Registrations essential below
